When I work with a law firm or small business my goal is to create realistic digital marketing goals that we can track and analyze. Some goals you may have are; more calls, more website traffic, higher Google rankings, better brand awareness.
Client Summary
Grewal Law came to me in the middle of 2016. Our first meeting they said, “I’ve been working with agency X for more than a year now and we aren’t showing up in search engines for any of our practice areas and my phones aren’t ringing!”
After reviewing their website it was obvious to me why they weren’t getting results. The website was poorly designed, the SEO was bad, and they had barely any content on the website.
I asked the client, “How aggressive do you want to be in the area?”, and he said “very!”
The plan was to create a new website, add quality content for specific practice areas, add new videos, re-work all the SEO, and do some Google and Facebook advertising.

Client Summary:
I started working with Basiga Law in the middle of 2015.
At that time the firm had a WordPress blog but was ready to take the firm to the next level and create a brand new website for their firm.
They wanted to create a professional website and have the firm rank well in Google for US/ Canada Border law and the practice areas surrounding it. At that time they didn’t rank anywhere on any search engine for these terms.
Over the past few years, we focused on creating high-quality content aimed at specific practice areas to help increase their SEO rankings.

When we started in late 2015 they didn’t rank for any keyword terms related to US/ Canada Border Law. Rankings aren’t everything but they play a huge part in bringing traffic to any website.

In 2019, Basiga Law decided to change direction with their digital marketing and focus a little bit more on the Okemos area for Criminal Defense, family law, and Social Security Benefits.
Changing digital marketing goals is a difficult decision to make and can take time to get results.
After almost a year, we’ve seen some very good results stemming from the redesign of their website to running Google and Facebook Ads.
For instance, you can see from this screenshot that their Google rankings have improved greatly over the past year. You will notice how many keywords we were able to improve including some featured snippets and first page rankings.
Client Summary:
The Bennett Law Firm is a Criminal Defense Law Firm Serving Southeast Michigan including Southfield, Warren, Troy, Novi, and Bloomfield Hills.
Sam Bennett and I met in February of 2019. At that time Sam had been out on his own for just about one year but felt that his firm hadn’t been growing the way he wanted.
After reviewing his current website we found some flaws that needed to be addressed immediately. Unfortunately, his current website didn’t portray him as the criminal defense expert he is. It lacked the design quality you would expect from a professional law firm.
In addition, it lacked certain important design elements, plus no SEO which led to poor Google rankings and no traffic.
The first thing we did was design a brand new WordPress website that showed him as the legal expert he is.
After the first 6 months since we redesigned the website and implemented better SEO the site and The Bennett Law Firm are doing very well. The firm has seen an increase in website traffic, better Google rankings and more calls coming into the firm.

2020 Update:
With consistent reviewing of their Google Ads, we’ve been able to lower their cost per click to $3.56 as well as increase their CTR %. That is a very low CPC for any large city criminal defense firm.

The first 6 months after launching the new website, we have increased the firm’s brand presence on Google and on Facebook.
Criminal Defense is one of the most difficult practice areas to advertise on Google for, and it’s very easy to overspend. This was my main goal with the firm, I wanted to bring in leads, but they had a very limited budget so we had to make sure the ads were bringing in good leads.
