The goal in this step is to clearly understand where you are in terms of SEO right now and what we will need to update or do to meet your goals. We will look at your website, your Google My Business account, your rankings, your website content, and a competitive analysis.

Step 3: Keyword Research

We need to perform keyword research to see where you currently rank in Google and to see what other keywords you may be able to rank in Google for. In addition, we look at what keywords your competition is ranking for and if we can over take them or if we should pursue other options.

It’s important to focus on keywords that get a good deal of web traffic and not focus on keywords that you may want to rank for but won’t gather you enough traffic to validate putting resources towards them.

The goal during this step is to create relative, unique and interesting content that Google and your visitors will love. We never use the technique “keyword stuffing” in an attempt to improve rankings.
